A seven-member Board of Trustees sets policy and approves operations for the utility.  Board members are appointed by the Bangor City Council, and serve three-year terms; they serve without compensation.

            The Board meets at the Bangor Water District located at 614 State Street on the third Tuesday of each month (unless scheduling conflicts dictate an alternate date). 

           In addition to posting the Board meeting agenda on the District's website, meeting agendas are also posted at the Bangor Water District business office and at City Hall.
